I am oscillating between guffawing and hoping the horse is okay.

For bad puns and strange comments, read the original reddit thread here

Edit: Oh jeebus I didn't realize how big the damn image is, editing the image size!

Horses will get themselves into the most amazing scrapes. I know a 10 hand pony who slashed his eyebrow open, standing in his well maintained stall. We NEVER found what he did it on.

This happened in my state, WV of course. They managed to get the horse out and he walked away seemingly unharmed. We also had the filly a couple years ago with her head in the tree. No idea how horses get themselves into those predicaments

Damn, good catch. His feet aren't looking that spectacular either. Poor thing!

The best comment I saw on that reddit thread:

"Stallions require a little extra caution, but most professionals say "they have to earn their balls" and that helps a lot.
I'd rather see an excellent horse gelded, than a mediocre stallion making more and more slaughter sale sandwiches.
That means good barn manners, not being rambunctious just because there are mares, and having a job besides making more little expenses
I knew a breeder who had a Hanoverian, and he was three day evented. Good horse. He only ever covered mares on their farm, and only ever in the breeding shed.
All other time was not sexy time - it was work time, or hang with his barn buddy in the paddock."

Believe it or not, this is not the first "horse in a tire" situation I've seen.
